A. D. Alexander age 67, of Altus, Oklahoma died February 28, 1967 at the Altus House Nursing Home. He was born June 3, 1967 in Texas to M. L. and Jennie (Worley) Alexander. A. D. married Ora Sledge March 29, 1918. He had been a resident of southwest Oklahoma since 1901.
Funeral services for A. D. Alexander are scheduled for Friday, March 3, 1967 at 3:00pm in the Baptist Church, Duke, Oklahoma, officiated by Rev. C. L. Abercrombie. Burial will follow in the Prairie Hill Cemetery, Duke, Oklahoma, under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.

Alexander is survived by his wife, Ora of the home; four sons, Lowell Alexander, Newhall, California; Ivan Alexander, Anahiem, California; Alfred Alexander, Boise City, Oklahoma, Jerry Alexander; Duke, Oklahoma; five daughters, Margaret Horton, Mustang, Oklahoma; Ima Dean North, Mesa, Washington; Elsa Brown, Union, Missouri; Velda Mansell, McLeansboro, Illinois; Joyce Groves, Duke, Oklahoma; seventeen grandchildren, three great grandchildren; four sister, Mamie Spruiell, Whittier, California; Maude Rollins, Ventura, California; Jennie V. Setliff, Altus, Oklahoma; Lillie Aday, Hollis, Oklahoma.
