Albert Lee Watson was born December 19, 1916 in Altus, Oklahoma. He was the son of the late Sam and Texie Watson. He died February 10, 1995 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. He was a life long resident of Altus and Jackson County. He married Wilma Jo Adams August 22, 1936 at Maysville, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death. He served in the US Navy during World War II. He had been employed with Civil Service until he retired. Graveside services are scheduled for 2 pm Monday at the Altus Cemetery with Sonny Tims officiating. Lowell-Tims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include brother; John Watson of Altus, Oklahoma; sister Arvella Bradshaw of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law Carol Watson of Altus.
Preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Jo Watson, a son Russell Watson.
