Obituary for Allen Chance Ring
Allen Chance Ring, age 28, a lifelong resident of Altus, passed away tragically Tuesday, August 5, 2008 in Tulsa.
Allen was born in Oklahoma City on May 28, 1980 to Mary Stephanie (Adams) Ring and Dewayne Eugene Ring, Sr. Allen was a member of the Victory Christian Center in Tulsa and worked in construction as a foreman and forklift operator. He enjoyed listening to music and writing poetry. One of his favorite things was to wake up early to see the sun rise. Allen was a friendly person and cared about people and would do anything he could to help anyone. His family was very important to him and his mom was his number one woman. He enjoyed cooking and really liked having family and friends around him at BBQ's. Allen loved his family and friends and he will be missed very much by everyone that loved him.
Preceded in death by his grandparents; Lewis and Bessie Adams; and George Lee Ring; Allen is survived by his wife, Joann Luna-Ring of Altus; mother, Mary S. Ring of Altus; father, Dewayne E. Ring, Sr. of Spring Town, Oklahoma; stepfathers, Jessie Stover of altus; Felemon Carbahal of Altus; five children, Gavin Lee Palmer of Altus; Charity Aleen Ring of Altus; Allen Chance Ring II of Altus; Serinity Luna of Altus; Madison Hill of Stillwater; three brothers, Dewayne Eugene Ring II of Altus; Daniel Franklin Ring of Altus; Paul Lee Taylor Ring and his wife Erica of Altus; five sisters, Irene M. Anderson and her husband Sean of Ponca City; JoEllen Hagaden and her husband Keith of Ponca City; Laurie Niaz and her husband Fazal of Tulsa; Stephanie Felan and her husband Alberto of Lone Wolf; Candy Lillian Martinez and her husband Carlos of Tulsa; and numerous nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends that Allen loved very much.
