Obituary for Allen R. Pierce
Allen R. Pierce, age 50, of Martha, Oklahoma, was born April 25th, 1946, in Wynnewood, OK, the son of Pete and Julia (Ezzell) Pierce. He was a lifetime resident of Jackson County. Mr. Pierce passed away Thursday, July 4th, 1996, in the Jackson County Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 6, 1996, in the Lowell Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Wiginton officiating. Burial will follow in the Martha Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
Allen was a former employee of Southwestern Bell Telephone. He was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include: his mother, Julia Pierce of Martha, OK; his father, Pete Pierce also of Martha, Oklahoma; two children, Mark Pierce of Altus, OK and Angie Banister and husband Billy of Germany; one brother, Steve Pierce of Norman, OK; three sisters, Anita Duncan of Norman, OK, Eva Jackson of Oklahoma City, OK and Pamela Stephens of Arcadia, OK; two grandchildren, Justin and Alana Banister of Germany; a special friend, Betty Neff of Martha, OK; and other relatives and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by: his grandparents and a sister, Cloyie Faye Pierce, 1950.
