Obituary for Allie Elizabeth Comstock
Funeral services have been set for Mrs. Allie Comstock, age 87, of Eldorado. Mrs. Comstock, a long time resident of Jackson County, died Saturday in a local nursing home after an extended illness.
She was born in Tarrant County, Texas on November 2nd, 1881. She was married to I.W. Lynn in January 1896, he preceding her in death. She was married to Wm. Comstock in 1926, he preceding her in death in 1942.
Survivors include: three sons, Jim Lynn of Lexington, OK, Sidney and Robert Lynn, both of Eldorado; two daughters, Mrs. Eva Stevens of Dallas and Mrs. Maggie Hawkins of Oklahoma City; three sisters, Mrs. Mattie Flippo of Breckenridge, TX, Mrs. Maggie Stowe of Arlington, TX and Jennie Lynn of Grand Prairie, Texas.
Services will be at the First Baptist Church in Eldorado on Monday, November 25, at 2:00 P.M., with the Reverend Walter Know officiating. Burial will be in Eldorado Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.
