Obituary for Amanda Arvilla Lane
Amanda Arvilla Lane, age 94, long time resident of Eldorado passed away Wednesday, October 28th, 1987, night at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Services have been set for Saturday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Eldorado, officiated by The Reverend Kenneth Coleman. Burial will be in the Eldorado Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born August 1st, 1893 at Patton, MO, the daughter of Jesse and Paracetta Cheek. She moved to Eldorado as a child where they settled near the Antioch Community near Eldorado. She married Perry Lee Lane December 7, 1913 at Eldorado. She was a long time member of the First Baptist Church of Eldorado. Mr. Lane preceded her in death in 1980.

Survivors include: one son, Wayne Lloyd Lane of Alva, OK; three daughters, Verna Clay Abbott of Shattuck, OK, Venita Davis of Altus and Wilma Jo Davis of Eldorado; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
