Obituary for Annis Lavina Pfeffer
Annis Lavina Pfeffer, age 86, of Blair, Oklahoma was born November 29, 1908, in Anadarko, Oklahoma, the daughter of Lewis Irvie and Annis Lou Ella (Hagood) Reed. She was a graduate of Cement High School, later attending Central State University in Edmond, OK. Mrs. Pfeffer passed away Tuesday, November 29th, 1994, in the Jackson County Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 1, 1994, in the First United Methodist Church of Blair, with Rev. Mike Neal officiating. Burial will follow in the Blair Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home of Altus.
On June 16, 1930, she and Cyrus Joseph "C.J." Pfeffer were united in marriage at Chickasha, OK. Mr. Pfeffer preceded her in death December 28, 1977. She owned and operated a Beauty Shop in Blair for several years. Mrs. Pfeffer was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Blair.
Survivors include: four nephews, Leland Davis of Odessa, Texas, Gerald Funk of Richardson, TX, Carl Davis of New Braunfels, TX and Darrel Oden of San Bernardino, CA; three nieces, Mary Young of Crane, TX, Donice Oden of Orange, CA and Jean Peen of Tulsa, OK; a sister-in-law, Ruth Flanagan of Comanche, OK; along with many friends.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, C. J. Pfeffer, 12-28-1977; a son, Douglas Kale Pfeffer, 5-24-1952.
