Obituary for Arlie Ivan Babb
Funeral services for Arlie Ivan Babb, 93, longtime Jackson County resident are scheduled for 2:00pm Monday, July 31 at the Eldorado First Baptist Church. Burial will follow at the Eldorado Cemetery. Mitch Wittington will officiate. Mr. Babb passed away July 28, 1995 at the local hospital.

Mr. Babb was born November 26, 1901 in Oklahoma City, to Charlie and daisy Carna (McDaniel) Babb. Mr. Babb married his wife of 63 years Mazella in 1923. Mr. Babb had worked as an Electrical and a Diesel Engineer for the U.S. Gysum Plant in Eldorado before its closing. Mr. Babb was a retired farmer, and a longtime member of the Eldorado First Baptist Church. Mr. Babb will lie in state at the Eldorado Funeral Chapel from 10:00am Sunday until service time Monday. Lowell-Tims Funeral Home is in chare of arrangements.

Survivors include children, Gerald Ivan Babb of Eldorado Oklahoma; Raburne Babb of San Jose, Califronia; Carrol Babb of Dallas, Texas; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mr Babb was preceded in death by parents and wife Mazella Babb in 1986, 2 sons; Donald Wallace Babb, Herman R. Babb, 1 sister and 2 brothers.
