Obituary for Arlie Mitchell Lewis
Arlie Mitchell Lewis was born January 20th, 1897 in Arkansas. He died June 1, 1992 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. He married Maggie Gilmore in 1917 in Texas. He had served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the American Legion and the First Church of the Nazarene.

Services are scheduled for Friday, June 5, 1992 at 10 A.M. at the Nazarene Church with Rev. T.O. Parsons officiating. Interment will be in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; his brother, Melburn Lewis.

Survivors include: his wife, Maggie of the home in Altus; three children, Arlie Lewis, Jr. of Amarillo, TX, Kenneth Lewis of Altus, OK and Sharon Cain of Dandridge, TN; a brother, Melvin Lewis of Muskogee, OK; a sister, Eurah Fish of Portland, OR; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
