Funeral services for Arvil C. Stevenson, 77, of Altus are scheduled for 2:00pm Friday, April 30, at the Lowell-Tims Chapel. Burial will follow at the Eldorado Cemetery. Rev. Gary McCellan will officiate. Mr. Stevenson died April 28 at the local hospital. Mr. Stevenson was born August 14, 1915 in Santaquin, Utah to James and Sarah Stevenson. He was a veteran of World War II and he Korean Conflict. In 1946 he married Evelyn Hankins in Las Vegas Nevada. Mr. Stevenson was a member of the Walnut Hill Lutheran Church in Dallas, Mr. Stevenson had been a resturant owner, and had been a produce manager for a Tom Thumb Grocery Store in Dallas. Lowell-Tims Funeral Home is in Charge of arrangements.

Mr. Stevenson is survived by his son, Michael Stevenson of Altus, Oklahoma; brother, James "Ray" Stevenson of Bountiful, Utah.

Mr. Stevenson is preceded in death by his wife, April 28, 1987, parents, two sisters and three brothers.
