Avery Albert Stone, 91, died January 21, 1991 at English Village Nursing Home. He was born March 15, 1899 to Will M. Stone in Dufau, Texas.

Mr. Stone was a retired cotton Ginner. He married Evye Burnett Stone on September 25, 1920 in Woodsboro, Texas. She preceded him in death. He was a Sunday School teacher and superintendant and deacon in First Baptist Church, Tipton, Oklahoma.

Mr. Stone is survived by his grandson Lanny Keith Lovejoy of Amarillo, Texas; two great-grandchildren, Deidra and Adam Lovejoy, Amarillo, Texas.

Mr. Stone was preceded in death by his wife Evye Stone, daughter Edith Imogene Stone Lovejoy, July 1977; two brothers, and two sisters.
