Obituary for Ballard Earl Hill
Funeral Services for Ballard Earl Hill, age 70, longtime Jackson County resident, are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 8, 1996, at the Lowell Tims Funeral Home Chapel. Bill Osborne will officiate. Burial will follow at the Altus City Cemetery.

Mr. Hill passed away October 5, 1996 at a local hospital. He was born December 20, 1925 in Duke, OK to John Roscoe and Grace Amy (Smalling) Hill. Mr. Hill was a veteran of World War II serving as a Petty Officer in the Navy. Mr. Hill was a farmer/rancher and a member of the Thomas Street Church of Church of Christ. Mr. Hill married his wife Billie on January 11, 1980 in Altus, Oklahoma. Mr. Hill had been on the board of directors of the PCA for many years.

Memorials may be made to the Oklahoma Arthritis Foundation in Mr. Hill's name. Lowell Tims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include: his spouse, Billie Nell Hill of the home; one brother, Randall E. Hill of Grand Prairie, TX; three step-children, Michael Smith of Norman, OK, Karen Travis of Thomas, OK and Debbie Leathers of Stroud, OK; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; one brother and one sister.
