Mr. Barney Sheridan McCoy, age 68, of Altus, OK, died on Monday, October 7th, 1968 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services in Altus will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 1968 at the Tims Chapel at 10:00 A.M. with the Reverend Thurman Hitchcock officiating. Burial will be in the Wellington Cemetery in Wellington, KS under direction of Franks Funeral Home.
Mr. McCoy was married to the former Lorene Price on June 2, 1930 in Altus, OK. He was a member of the American Legion, Oddfellows and Rebekkahs.
He is survived by: his wife of the home; one daughter, Opal Flinn of Tulsa, OK; one son, John McCoy of Alhambra, CA; three grandchildren; one brother, Fred McCoy of Wellington, KS; one sister, Blanche Shivington of Denver, CO.
