Obituary for Beaulah Elizabeth Scarbrough
Beaulah Elizabeth "Bess" Scarbrough, 83, passed away July 22, 2003 at English Village Nursing Home, Altus, Oklahoma.

Graveside services are set for 11am, July 28, 2003 at the Prairie Hill Cemetery with Reverend Noel George officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.

Bess was born April 8, 1920 to I.G. and Beaulah Scarbrough. She had 3 brothers, Archie, Jess and James. Her parents moved from Everman, Texas to Oklahoma in 1918 and settled in the Prairie Hill Community. Bess attended Prairie Hill School and graduated from High School in 1940. She was a member of the Prairie Hill Baptist Church and was converted and baptized at the age of seven. She served as Secretary to the Prairie Hill Sunday School for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, 2 nephews, Attorney Bob Scarbrough, of Altus and Don Scarbrough who lived in Arkansas.
