Obituary for Bertha Lee Bright
Mrs. Bertha Lee Bright, age 81, of 708 West Cypress and resident of Altus for in excess of 50 years, died Thursday, August 12th, 1982, night at Jackson County Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Funeral services have been set for Saturday morning at 10:00 A.M. at the Lowell Memorial Chapel, officiated by Rev. Frosty Whitmore. Burial will be in Granite City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Funeral Home.
Born November 10th, 1900 at Bonham, TX, she was married in 1919 at Wheeler, TX to the late Rosco Irby Bright. He died in 1972.
Survivors include: two daughters, Jewell May Fuller of Altus and Johnnie Nichols, Pampa, TX; one brother, Lloyd Bartley of Childress, TX; two sisters, Myrtle Bell of Memphis, TX and Addie Morris of Sayre, OK; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by: a daughter, Margie Irene Barrett; a son, Freddy Lee Bright,
