Beryl Hazel Herring age 82, of Headrick, Oklahoma died December 8, 1982 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital in Altus.
Beryl was born September 7, 1900 in Roanoke, Virginia to Issac and Ila (Holland) Martin. She married W. D. (Dick) Martin December 30, 1925 in Hobart, Oklahoma. He preceded Beryl in death February 27, 1973.
Funeral services for Beryl Herring are scheduled for Saturday, December 11, 1982 at 11:00 am at the First Baptist Church, Altus, officiated by Keith Wiginton. Burial will follow in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Beryl Herring is survived by three sons, Bill Herring, Carmichael, California; Art Herring, Carlsbad, New Mexico; Rodney Herring Carmichael, California; eight daughters, Juanita Dishman, Headrick, Oklahoma; Durwood Daye Wilks, Altus, Oklahoma; Oletta Skins, Altus, Oklahoma; Katie James, Tamaqua, Pennsylvania; Iva Jean Laughery, Clinton, Oklahoma; Alma Ray Bilbreath, Arab, Alabama; Lorene Partent, Dallal, Texas; Wilma Cates, Houston, Texas; two sisters, Lillie Cisco, California; Bessie Hunter, Los Angles, California; three brothers, Dueth Martin, California; Wallace Martin, California; Roy Martin, California; thirty three grandchildren, thirty three great-grandchildren.
