Obituary for Bettie Lou Robinson
Bettie Lou Robinson age 89o Frederick, Oklahoma passed away Friday, August 15, 1997 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital in Frederick. She was born December 3, 1907 at Rocky, Oklahoma to the late Sam Kimbell Robinson and Ada Cathryn (McElmurry) Robinson. She had lived in Oklahoma City for many years until 1988 when she moved to Frederick. She had been a resident at the Frederick Memorial Nursing Center since 1992. Bettie had been employed at Dairy Queen, in Oklahoma City for many years. She was a long time member of the First Missionary Baptist Church of Frederick.

Survivors include one brother S.K. Robinson and his wife Patsy of Blair, Oklahoma two sisters; Mary Watson and her husband Carl of Rocky, Oklahoma and Reba Hollis of Bullhead Arizona; one sister-in-law, Ruby Robinson of Mustang, Oklahoma, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Dorothy Linderer and Effie McBride, two brothers, Ray and Jack Robinson.

Funeral Services is scheduled for Monday, August 18, 1997 at 2:00pm in the First Missionary Baptist Chuch at Frederick, Oklahoma with Rev. S.K. Robinson and Rev. Robert Russell officiating. Burial will be at 4:00pm in the Mt. View Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home of Altus. Miss Robinson will lie in state at the Frederick Funeral Home, Frederick, Oklahoma.
