Obituary for Betty Osburn
Betty Osburn 102, former long time Altus resident of Altus died Thursday morning at Sun City Arizona. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00pm at the Lowell-Tims Chapel officiated by Rev. Bill Davis. Burial will be in Altus Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home, 1100 East Tamarack Road.
Osburn was born July 1, 1888 in Union Camp Tennessee. She was married to Asa Osburn in 1908. She was preceded in death by her husband Asa Osburn, three sons, Frank, W.C. and Jessie Van, one daughter Horense, two brothers, Ben Russell and Bud Russell and three sisters, Maud Scroggins, Lucy Newcomb, and Myrtle Chambers.
Mrs Osburn is survived by children, Cora Kastner, Altus, Oklahoma; Evelyn DiFlice, Sun City, Arizona; Lucille Drake, Phoenix, Arizona; Joda Faye Mayhew, Reno, Nevada; thirty one grandchildren, fifty seven great-grandchildren; twenty seven great-great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
