CLANCY
Betty Sue Clancy, age 84, of Fort Collins, Colorado, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2017, after a very courageous fight with cancer.
Sue was born on July 1, 1932 at Eldorado, Oklahoma, to the late Jesse and Alta (Maberry) Walker. She attended high school in Altus, Oklahoma, where she met James E. Clancy. They were united in marriage on August 6, 1948, in Vernon, Texas. They were married 49 years until his death in 1997. She was preceded in death by her son, Billy (Eddie) Clancy, four sisters, Wilma McClure, Mildred Brooks, Connie Smith, and Iona McCombs, and one brother, Macie Walker. Survivors include one daughter, Rhonda Grisham of Fort Collins, Colorado, one grandson, Justin Clancy and his wife Krista of San Diego, California, one granddaughter, Susan Clancy of Midland, Texas, and two great granddaughters, Isabella and Emmalyn Clancy of San Diego, California.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, February 11, 2017, at Restlawn Cemetery, in Altus, Oklahoma, officiated by Rev. Dr. Leigh Ann Shaw of San Marcos, California. Services are under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home, of Altus.
