Rafela Billie "Penny" Reyes Garcia, 52 years, passed away January 2, 2011 in Montgomery, Alabama. She was born on May 31, 1958 to Thomas and Tomasa Reyes in Salt Lake City, Utah. Bellie is survived by her children, Roger Mathews of Austin, Texas; Melissa Rowell and husband Benton of Leesville Louisiana; and Kimberly Garica of Denton, Texas; brothers, Martin Rees of Dallas, Texas; Elisandro Torres and wife Francis of Runge, Texas; Raul Reyes and wife Antonia of Olustee, Oklahoma; Thomas Reyes and wife Maryann of Altus, Oklahoma ; Alberta Aleman and husband Jose of Cibolo, texas; Evla Robinson and husband Colby of Duncan, Oklahoma; sister-in-law, Margaret Reyes of Cache, Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by parents, Thomas and Tomasa Reyes; brothers, Reyanldo reyes and Ramiro Reyes; sister, Sendy Reyes Lara.
Billie had a happy full life as a loving mother, sister, daughter, and friend. She held a position as Principal Engineer supporting Wyle Information Systems; HQ 554thELSG in Montgomery, Alabama.
The family will receive guests from 5 to 8 pm on Sunday, January 9, 2011 at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held 1:00pm Monday, January 10, 2011 in the Lowell-Tims Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in Altus Cemetery.
