Obituary for Billy Ramond Jones
Billy Raymond "Rooster" Jones, age 78, a long-time resident of Altus, passed away at the VA Center in Clinton Saturday, April 19, 2008.
Rooster was a long-time coach and teacher where he coached basketball and baseball at Arapaho, Arnett-Hollis, Duke and Tipton High Schools.
He is survived by his five children, Michale Marcy and husband Keith of Clinton, Nancy Richardson of Edmond, Tonia Duncan of Burns Flat, Mike Weber of OKC and Mark Weber and wife Jennifer of Tulsa.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at the Lowell-Tims Funeral Home Chapel in Altus and intermednt at Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home of Altus.
