Obituary for Binoca Marie Fitts
Binoca "Benny" Marie Pickett-Fitts, 68, returned home to her heavenly father Thursday August 8, 2019 at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Benny was born December 18, 1950 to Milton and Odessa (Robinson) Pickett in Altus, Oklahoma. She was such a loving and caring person. She always had a smile on her face. Growing up she was known for putting curls in every ones hair. Benny graduated from Lincoln High School in Altus, Oklahoma. She continued her education by attending and graduated from Aladdin Beauty College and obtaining her Cosmetology license. Benny lived in many places during her live such as Enid, Oklahoma, Atlanta, Georgia, California, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, but her home was always Altus, Oklahoma. She had a host of jobs she worked at Jackson County Hospital, was a case worker for the City of Altus, most of her career was spent working for Altus Air Force Base. Benny enjoyed cooking for her family and friends, playing bingo, but her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her grandchildren, and her great - grandchildren. She was a proud member of the Macedona Baptist church in Altus, Oklahoma.
She was greeted at heaven's gate by her parents; Milton Pickett and Odessa Robinson Pickett, Brother; Russell Pickett, Sisters; Gale Maxine "Cinderella" Pickett, Jean Marie Pickett , Grandmother; Ammie Allen, Uncles; Sterling, K.J., Bill Niece; Tina Rice, Brother-in-law; Reginald Thornton, Great - Nephews; Reginald Thornton III, Bubba D, Aunts; Sug, Edna Mae, Sis, and Great Aunt; Jewel Hill.
Left to honor memory are Son; Kenneth Fitts; and Shane Fitts, Daughter; Shady Fitts, Brother; Charlie Picketts, Sister; Troylene Thornton, Grandchildren; Kendra West, Richard Nichols, Iesha Booker, Arentha Johnson, Deshane Jefferson, Odessisus "Tre" Fitts, Mercedez Biggins, Shanerra Fitts, and Jai'Marcus Goodin, Eighteen Great -Grandchildren, Nephew; Terrance "Terry" Davis, Chetrick Rice, Chadrick Rice, Reginald L. Thornton, Jr. and numerous other relatives and friends.
The Fitts family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at Lowell - Tims Funeral Home, Altus, Oklahoma.
A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 15, 2019 at Lowell - Tims Funeral Home Chapel, Altus, Oklahoma.
