Obituary for Bobby Keith Faulks
It is with heavy hearts and deep gratitude that we announce the passing of Bobby Keith Faulks, who entered Heaven on March 28, 2025, at the age of 83. Bobby was born on April 5, 1941 to Hubert and Myrl Faulks, and was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose legacy of love, service, and faith will continue to inspire those who knew him.
Bobby's life was a testament to dedication, kindness, and selflessness. He married his high school sweetheart, Joy (Crabb) Faulks, on December 12, 1959, and together they built a beautiful life, raising a family and creating a strong foundation of faith and love. They were inseparable partners, sharing not only the joys of life but the challenges as well.
A man of many talents, Bobby was a licensed journeyman plumber and held a master water-well driller license in several states. His work ethic and attention to detail were matched only by his desire to help others. Whether on the job or in the community, Bobby's hands were always ready to serve. His legacy as a skilled tradesman lives on through the countless projects he completed and the lives he touched through his hard work.
For over 50 years, Bobby served as a deacon at First Baptist Church Hollis, where his commitment to his faith and community was evident in all he did. Bobby's actions always spoke louder than words, and his selfless service to others left an indelible mark on his church family.
Bobby was also known for his love of classic cars-a passion that brought him great joy and a sense of nostalgia. Whether he was restoring a vintage vehicle or simply attending a car show, Bobby's enthusiasm was contagious, and he was always ready to share his knowledge with others.
Above all, Bobby was a man of service. His attitude of humility and generosity was a beacon of light to all who knew him. He never hesitated to lend a hand, offer a kind word, or support someone in need. His selflessness will be remembered by all who had the privilege of experiencing his kindness.
Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Joy Faulks; his son, Kelly and wife Daphne; his daughter Kandi; his six grandchildren, Braden and Raegan, Connor and Kelci, Kanyon and Kristina, Carson and D'Lyn, Cade and Cyerra, Kendi and Dustin; his fourteen great-grandchildren, Barrett, Palmer, Caroline, Lucy, Hattie, Collier, Harper, Krew, Hazel, Jenna, Adeline, Levi, Miley, and Dawson; his brother Sonny Faulks and Nancy and many beloved nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Mozelle, Mae, Billie, Janelle, and Tiny; brother J.W.; and son-in-law Bradley Cunningham.
A celebration of Bobby's life will be held at First Baptist Church Hollis on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Fairmount Cemetery, Hollis, Oklahoma.
