Bridget Ann Moss, a beloved lifelong resident of Harmon County, peacefully passed away on April 24, 2024, at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Born on March 12, 1964, in Altus, Oklahoma, Bridget Ann Zimmerman brought immense joy to her parents Ronald and Mary (Atkinson) Zimmerman. Growing up and receiving her education in Harmon County filled Bridget with a deep sense of pride. In 1982, she proudly graduated from Hollis High School. Her journey in nursing began in Childress, Texas, where she earned her LPN license. Bridget's innate talent for caregiving shone brightly, igniting her lifelong passion for helping others. This dedication led her to further her education. She pursued her RN at Amarillo Nursing School, later earning her bachelor's degree in nursing from Texas Tech University, and ultimately achieving her master's degree in nursing from West Texas A&M.
Throughout her illustrious career, Bridget's compassionate spirit graced numerous clinics and hospitals, including various ERs, where she touched countless lives. Despite her professional endeavors, her heart always remained in Harmon County, where she tirelessly served her community with pride and dedication. Bridget's commitment to excellence was evident in her continuous pursuit of knowledge, constantly studying and researching to enhance her skills and provide the best possible care to those in her care.
Bridget was blessed with two children, Cameron and Colby, and her greatest joy came from being a grandmother to nine adoring grandchildren. Her legacy of love, compassion, and service will forever live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Zimmerman and her son, Cameron Earls.
Left to honor her memory are her son, Colby Earls, nine grandchildren, Ceason Earls, Cooper Earls, Lana Jo Earls, Colton Earls, Brooklynn Earls, Tripp Earls, Cabella Earls, Emily Earls and Marci Kate Earls. Also surviving her are her mother, Mary Zimmerman, Sister, Daphne Faulks and husband Kelly, her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and nephews.
Bridget's family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Sunday, April 28, 2024, at Harmon County Funeral Home Chapel, Hollis, Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 29, 2024, at Hollis First Baptist Church with interment to follow at Gould Cemetery, Gould, Oklahoma with Pastor Tim Tutten officing.
Services have been entrusted to Harmon County Funeral Home, Hollis, Oklahoma.
