Bruce Rutherford, 46, passed away suddenly at his home in Altus, Oklahoma, on December 11, 2007.
Bruce was born March 12, 1961, in Wright County, Iowa, to Llyod Rutherford and Joan (Hollinger) Thorme Snow. He married Lisa Edgell and they had many happy tears together before her death on July 30, 2006.
Bruce served his county in the United States Air force for twenty years before his retirement in 2002. He then began his career in Civil Service at the Altus Air Force Base where he was currently employed.
He is survived by his twin sons, Andrew and Alec Rutherford, of the home in Altus; his parents, Lloyd Rutherford of Maplewood, Minnesota, and Joan
Thorme Snow of Yuma Arizona; one brother, Robert Wood of Little Quincy, Michigan; one sister, Julie Morrison and husband Arthur of Quincy Michigan; two nieces, Amanda and Kelsey Wood, both of Angola, Indiana; two nephews, Arthur Carl Morrison and John William Morrison, both of Quincy Michigan; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Sandy and Willie Shaw of Altus; and seven step-brothers and step-sisters.
Funeral Services for Bruce Rutherford will be 2:00 pm Saturday, December 15, at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home Chapel under the directions of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
