Obituary for Bryan O.B. Sims
Services have been set for Bryan O.B. Sims, age 86, who died February 6, 1984 at Elk View Hospital, Hobart, OK.

Bryan O.B. Sims was born December 12th, 1897 in Iowa Park, Texas to Robert S. and Julia Ann Sims. He married Evelyn Halterman on September 6, 1927 at Frederick, OK. Bryan and Evelyn moved to Hobart in 1929. That same year Bryan joined Great Southern Life Insurance Co. and was active with the company for the past 55 years.

He is survived by his wife of the home; one daughter, Lucy Bieberdorf of Hobart, OK; three sons, Robert of Abilene, TX, Louis of Houston, TX and James of Dimmitt, TX; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

Services are set for Wednesday, February 8th at 11:00 A.M. at the Presbyterian Church, officiated by Rev. Bob Healey assisted by Rev. Bob Able. Mr. Sims will lie in state at the Hackney Funeral Home of Hobart. Funeral arrangements are being made by the Lowell Funeral Home of Altus. The family requests that contributions be made to the Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund.
