Services for Buddy Brice Morehouse are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, 1998 at the Lowell Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Father Jacobi officiating.
Buddy Morehouse was born March 8, 1938 at Detroit, Michigan. He was the son of the late Dale and Ruth Morehouse. He passed away May 1, 1998 in his home in Altus, Oklahoma. He married his wife, Justine Hilek, October 31, 1964 at Las Vegas, NV.
Buddy was retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Master Sergeant. He served four tours in Viet Nam. Buddy was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal with one Oak Leaf Cluster, the Good Conduct Medal, the Combat Readiness Medal with one Oak Cluster, the Humanitarian Service Medal, the Air Force Longevity Award Ribbon with one Silver Oak Leaf, the National Defense Service Medal, Viet Nam Service Medal with two Bronze Stars, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with two oak clusters, Republic of Viet Nam Campaign Medal, the Air Force Overseas Long Tour Ribbon with one Oak Cluster, and the Air Force Training Ribbon.
After retiring from the Air Force, Buddy was employed with Flight Safety, serving as a Flight Engineer Instructor with the C-141. He recently received his Associates Degree from WOSC.
Survivors include: his wife, Justine Morehouse of Altus, Oklahoma; five stepchildren, Kari, Karl, Kurt, Kris, and Katrina all of whom are overseas; three brothers, Scott, Lynn and Bruce Morehouse; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Gary and Dale Morehouse.
Memorials in honor of Buddy may be made to Hospice of Altus.
Interment will take place in Cleveland, Ohio at the Lakewood Park Cemetery.
