Obituary for Buddy Ray Cargal
Buddy Ray Cargal, 71, of Blair, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2012, at Jackson County Memorial Hospital in Altus.

Buddy was born November 3, 1940, in Blair, Oklahoma, to E.D. "Pete" and Lois Mae (Carter) Cargal. He graduated from Blair High School in 1958 and started driving a truck during his high school years. He made a lifetime occupation of a career he enjoyed, driving all over the United States, hauling cotton seed and cattle. Buddy loved watching television and spending time with his family after he retired in 2005.

Preceded in death by his father, Pete Cargal in 1979, Buddy is survived by his mother, Lois Cargal of Blair; two sons, Phil Cargal and wife Inna of Blair and Shawn Cargal and wife Othel, of Martha, Oklahoma; one sister, LaDene Vickery and husband Sam of Blair; three grandchildren, Denny Ray Cargal and wife Amy of Altus, Zebulon Cole Cargal of Blair, and Catiee Dawn Cargal of Altus; three great grandchildren, Kaiser, Ryker, and Mylie, all of Altus; two nephews, David Shatswell and K.D. Shatswell, both of Blair; one niece, Sheila Reed of Mountain Park, Oklahoma, and many friends who will miss him so much.

Memorial Graveside Services will be held by the family 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 2, 2012, with Reverend Doug Altom officiating. The family has entrusted the care of their loved one to Lowell-Tims Funeral Home in Altus.
