Charles Cecil Vaughn age 61 of Altus, Oklahoma died October 23, 1966 at Memorial Hospital in Altus. He was born July 6, 1905 in Granite, Oklahoma to John Wesley and Nancy Jane (Cox) Vaughn. He married Audrey Taylor November 27, 1929. He had been a resident of Jackson County since November 27, 1945. He was a photographer and was associated with Moore Studio. He was a member of the Elm and Hudson Church of Christ.
Funeral services for Charles Cecil Vaughn are planned for 10:00am October 25, 1966 in the Elm and Hudson Church of Christ, Altus, officiated by Wallace Gooch. Burial will follow in the Granite Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Charles Cecil Vaughn is survived by his wife, Audrey of the home in Altus; one son, Jimmy Vaughn, Childress, Texas; two granddaughters, Pamala Vaughn, Childress, Texas; Leslie Vaughn, Childress, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Arllie E. Smith, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; three brothers, Mac Vaughn, Sentinel, Oklahoma; Hugh Vaughn, Sarah, Oklahoma; Robert Vaughn, South Gate, California.
