Crozier

Charles Polk Crozier, 90, of Eldorado, passed away at his home Sunday, April 29, 2007.

Polk was born December 25, 1916, in Cane Hill, Arkansas, to Charlie Frank and Nancy Louise (Icenogle) Crozier. In his teen years, he attended school in Sentinel, Oklahoma.

Polk served his country in the United States Army during World War ll. He cane home after the war and married Dorothy Jo Richeson June 23, 1946, in Quanah, Texas. They lived in Harmon County where they farmed for over 50 years. He and Dorothy moved to Eldorado in 1975 where he was fondly remembered as an excellent carpenter. He enjoyed being involved in many building projects including helping build the baptistery in the First Baptist Church in Eldorado.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Crozier, of the home, three children, Jimmy Crozier and wife Kathy of Eldorado, Linda Diane Ned, also of Eldorado, and Debbie Crozier of Colusa, California: one brother, Barton Crozier and wife Floy of Lovington, New Mexico: one sister Louise Carte o Linclon, Arkansas; ten grandchildren, Jaycie Smith and husband Chris of Altus, Maycie Crozier of Oklahoma City, Melanie Crozier and Melissa Newman, both of Denton, Texas, Debbie Stephens of Eldorado, Jennifer White of Oklahoma City, Emily Wright of Muskogee. Oklahoma, Lynda Carrell and husband Cary of Olustee, Luke Kerr and wife Jennifer of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Monica Crozier of Colusa, California. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.

Polk was preceded in death by one son, Eddie Wayne Crozier; one great-grandson, Adam Stephens, and two sisters, Natalie Davidson and Margie Humphrey.
