He married Virginia Elfreda Waldrop November 19, 1931 in Humpreys, Oklahoma. Charles had lived and farmed in Friendship and Altus since 1929.
Funeral services for Charles Voyd Kingston are scheduled for April 19, 1966 at 2:00pm in Thomas Street Church of Christ in Altus, Oklahoma, officiated by Joe Laird. Burial will follow in the Navajo Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Charles Voyd Kingston is survived by his wife Virginia of the home; three sons James Kingston, Kermit, Texas; Billy Kingston, Andrews, Texas; Edward Ray Kingston, Altus, Oklahoma; one daughter, Janet Sunderland, Woodward, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, three brothers, eight sisters, step-mother, Mrs. Leita Kingston, New Boston, Texas.
