Obituary for Charlie Brunson
Charlie D. Brunson was born February 11, 1925 at Bennington, OK. He died June 30th, 1994 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. He was the son of the late Elbert and Odessa Brunson. He married Ethelene Fewell June 22, 1946 at Duke, OK. He graduated from Southside High School. He served in the Army Air Corps during WWII. He served with the 819th Bomb Squad and the 30th Bomb Group with the 7th Air Force. He also served with the Sherriff's Department for eight years before retiring. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #62, Altus VFW Post #4876 and was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church.

Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Lowell Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Tiger officiating. Interment will be in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Grace United Methodist Building Fund.

Survivors include: his wife, Ethelene Brunson of Altus, Oklahoma; one daughter, Gwen Dean of Amarillo, TX.

He was preceded in death by: his Mother and Father; three sisters and two brothers.
