Obituary for Charlie Dawson Bynum
Funeral services have been set for Charlie Dawson Bynum, age 85, at 2:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon, March 26, 1987 at the First Baptist Church in Eldorado, with the Reverend Kenneth Coleman officiating. Burial will be in the Eldorado Cemetery, Eldorado, under the direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Charlie Bynum was born January 22, 1902 in Indiana and was the son of Druery and Mattie Warren Bynum. He then moved to the Eldorado community as a small child with his parents. He farmed and raised registered shorthorned cattle west of Eldorado. He married his wife Gladys (Leese) Bynum on December 9, 1923 in Eldorado, OK. He then moved into Eldorado and he then retired in 1969.

He passed away early Tuesday morning at his home in Eldorado. Survivors include: his wife, Gladys Bynum of the home; one brother, Carl Bynum of Crockett, TX; two nieces, Ruth Street of Sentinel, OK and Nettie Lee Claiborne of Hobb, NM; several nieces and nephews.
