Clark Wylie Smith, 67, of Altus died Monday at St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, Louisiana. Services are scheduled for Thursday at 9:30 am at the Lowell Memorial Chapel officiated by John Baethge and Rev. Norman Nicholas. Emtombment will be in Restland of Dallas Cemetery in the Abbey Mausoleum at 4:00pm. Arrangements are with Lowell Funeral Home.

Smith was born November 3, 1922 in Dallas, Texas. He was the son of Clark and Willie Smith. He was a Veteran of World War II and a retired Master Sgt. After his retirement he operated Clark's Television Repair and was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church.

He married Mary Ruth Ashworth January 20, 1941 in Dallas. they had been residents of Altus for 33 years.

Survivors include, his wife, Mary Ruth Smith of the home; four children, Jerry Clark Smith of Cache, Oklahoma; Nancy Patricia Graves of Dallas, Texas; Terry E. Smith of Wichita Kansas; and Chris R. Smith of Albuquerque, New Mexico; eight grandchildren, and one great grandchild; also surviving are one son-in-law and two daughters-in-law.
