Obituary for Cleo Madge Peden
Cleo Penden, age 79, of Altus, Oklahoma, died at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital on Sunday.

Graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday at the Sterling Cemetery at Sterling, Oklahoma. Arrangements were with Lowell Tims Funeral Home.

Peden was born April 22, 1912 at Tishimingo, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Andrew and Myrtle Baker. She had been a resident at the English Village Nursing Home for eight years.

Survivors include: two children, Joyce Ward of Muskogee, OK and Vickie Stover of Chickasha, OK; 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; a number of great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Claud Peden in 1967; a daughter, Pat Bennett in 1969; a son, Calvin Peden in 1976.
