Obituary for Climmet Kincheon Conwell
Mr. Climmet Kincheon Conwell, age 78, of Rock Acres, Altus, OK, died Thursday, August 8th, 1968, at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, First United Methodist Church, 5:00 P.M., with the Reverend Alonzo Battles officiating. Burial will be in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.

Mr. Conwell was a member of the First United Methodist Church for many years. He was a photographer by trade. He was married to the former Ethel Bryce 58 years ago ion Altus, OK. They were the first couple to be married in the Jackson County Courthouse. Conwell Studio is the oldest business in Altus still operated by the original owners who were in business since 1911. Mr. Conwell took public school pictures in Altus and SW Oklahoma since 1955. He had received the 45-year Masonic pin, 32nd Degree Mason, Past Worshipful Master of Altus Lodge. He was a member of the Eastern Star, SW Photographer's Association and operated the largest apiary in Jackson County.

He is survived by: his wife, Ethel, of the home; two daughters, Mrs. C. B. (Quahlens) Bristol, Jr. of Andrews, TX and Mrs. Merle (Juanita) Wilkerson of Altus, OK; three grandchildren; four great-grandsons; two sisters, Mrs. George Thompson and Mrs. Marie Wright of Paris, TX.
