Obituary for Clyde Delbert Taylor
Clyde Delbert Taylor, age 69, of Altus passed away early Saturday, November 19th, 1988 morning at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Services have been set for Tuesday morning at 10:00 A.M. at the Lowell Memorial Chapel officiated by Lt. Roy L. Crane. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born July 11, 1919 in Sweetwater, Oklahoma, Taylor was the son of William and Mary Etta Taylor, both Oklahoma Pioneers. He married Billy L. Hicks September 5, 1937. He was a Veteran of WWII, serving in the U.S. Army.

Survivors include: his wife, Billy Louise Taylor of the home; two daughters, Donna A. Jenkins of Altus and Mary Louise Elledge of Duncan, OK; three sons, Winfred G. Taylor of Tampa, FL, Clyde R. Taylor of Altus and Larry R. Taylor of Lawton, OK; one sister, Lillian Walker of Altus; 16 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews.
