Obituary for Colleen Hill
Lula Colleen Graham Hill, 80, passed away on Monday, December 3, 2012 at Windcrest Rehab and Nursing Home in Springdale, Arkansas where Colleen had resided for the past three years.
Colleen was born on February 15, 1932 in Springdale, Arkansas to Simon and Ethel Graham. Colleen always had a talent for singing and in her teenage years joined a gospel quartet that was broadcast on the radio. They married shortly after and enjoyed 63 years of marriage.
Colleen was a stay at home mom until 1968, when she went to work at Watkins Department Store as the Bookkeeper. Colleen remained in that position until she and Page opened the Carriage House in 1975. Colleen retired from that position in 1994, when she and Page moved back to Arkansas. Colleen loved to work on crafts and needlepoint. She made sure that every member of the family had a handcrafted Christmas stocking. Colleen was a member of Eastern Star, ABWA, and Highland Heights Untied Methodist Church in Altus. Colleen always had a smile on her face, a great sense of humor, a love for life and will be dearly missed.
