Obituary for Cora Gentry
Cora Gentry, 89, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 1995 in a local nursing home. She was born October 12, 1905 in Edgewood, Texas to John and LIzzie "Bobbitt" Finch. On December 16, 1923 Cora married Mack William "Bill" Gentry. Mrs. Gentry, along with her husband Bill, returned to Altus from Amarillo in the Spring of 1976. He preceded her in death on September 24th of that same year.

Cora was a housewife and a member of the Thomas Street Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; bill and one son, Carroll Eugene Gentry in 1945.

Cora is survived by one brother, Delton "Bud" Finch of Oklahoma City; one sister, Grace Hodshire o Amarillo, Texas; and three sister-in-laws, Katie Long and Ida Wise, both of Altus and Mae Gentry of Lawton, Oklahoma.
