Obituary for Curtis L. Ragsdale
Curtis L. Ragsdale, age 83, passed away October 6, 2004 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital in Altus, Oklahoma.
He was born to Joe and Marjorie (Ribble) Ragsdale on February 22, 1921 in Ketchum, Oklahoma.
Curtis married Miriam "Earlyne" Logan on February 29, 1952 in Long Beach, CA.
He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Gardena, CA, where he served as a Deacon and Elder of the Church; he loved being involved with his church family and friends. Curtis is lovingly survived by his wife, Miriam Earlyne Ragsdale of Altus, Oklahoma, one son, Curtis E. Ragsdale and wife Debbie of Altus, Oklahoma, one grandson, Zach Ragsdale and wife Tonya of Burleson, Texas; two great-grandchildren, Taytlor Ragsdale and Lexi Ragsdale of Burleson, Texas and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many special friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Jack Ragsdale and one sister, Molly Faye Hamilton.
Graveside services will be held Monday, October 11, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Keen Cemetery in Texas with Pastor John Johnson officiating.
Local arrangements are under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
Memorials can be made to Gardena Seventh Day Adventist Church, 16113 South Denker Ave., Gardena, CA 90247, in memory of Curtis L. Ragsdale.
