Obituary for Curtis W. McSpadden
Curtis McSpadden was born October 9, 1918 in Altus, Oklahoma. He was the son of the late Joe and Inez (Walker) McSpadden. He died May 24, 2001 at his home in Gatesville, Texas. Curtis was a farmer and rancher, he was involved with Agriculture his entire life. He had resided in Texas since 1960. He was a member of the Baptist church. His grandparents were the first to homestead in Jackson County and his grandmother was the founder of Altus.

Survivors include his wife Linda McSpadden Gatesville, Texas; one daughter Donna James and Leon of Altus, Oklahoma; three grandchildren Steve Williams and Wendy of Quanah, Texas, Robbie James and Kathy of Altus, Oklahoma, Kyle James and Sheryl of Blair, Oklahoma; 8 grandchildren, one cousin Lucille Walker of Altus, Oklahoma.

Graveside services for Curtis McSpadden are scheduled for 3 pm Saturday, May 26, 2001 at the Altus City Cemetery with Rod Smith offficiating.
Lowell-Tims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
