Mr. D. C. Kincannon, age 53, died unexpectedly on January 25th, 1968 while on a job in Vernon, Texas.
Born March 27th, 1914 in the Harmony Community, Olustee, OK, he was married to the former Caroline Wilson on June 21, 1934 at Glencoe, OK. He was the son of William P. and Minnie Kincannon. Mr. Kincannon was a carpenter and belonged to the Methodist Church in Olustee.
He had lived in Olustee for the last 12 years.
Survivors include: his wife, Caroline, of the home; one son, Arthur Dee Kincannon of Stillwater, OK; two brothers, Ray Kincannon of Imperial, TX and Leon Kincannon of Altus, OK; one sister, Mrs. M. J. Stone of Altus, OK.
Services have been set for 2:30 P.M., Saturday, January 27, 1968, at the Grace Methodist Church with the Reverend James Mahan, Rector of St. Pauls Episcopal Church officiating and assisted by the Reverend Don English, Pastor, Grace Methodist Church. Burial will be in Restlawn Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.
