Obituary for Daky Odell Leister
Daky Odell Leister was born on November 5th, 1909 at Ole, Arkansas to David and Minnie Allen Leister. He died on July 19th, 1990 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. He married Leona Mae Keaton on January 19, 1934 and she preceded him in death on September 24, 1989. He owned and operated Odell's Cafe and was a member of Thomas Street Church of Christ. He had lived in Altus since 1923.

Survivors include: two daughters, Carolyn Bird of Amarillo, TX and Odella Kay Bell of Blytheville, AR; three sons, Charles Leister of Tyler, TX, Leon Leister of Pontiac, and Gene Leister of Altus, OK; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Sue Flood of Alpine, TX; one brother, Everett Leister of Amarillo, TX.
