Obituary for Dale Monte Bearden
Monte Dale Bearden
Monte Dale Bearden, 79, went home to meet the Lord on August 16, 2011, after a long battle with heart disease. He was born June 20, 1932, in Springdale, Arkansas, to E.W. He was very active in the RA program for over forty years and was named Mr. R A in 1985. He also coached Little League baseball and basketball for a number of years. He never missed an opportunity to mention Jesus to a child.
Monte was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Bertha, two brothers, Chester and Omar, and by four sisters, Gertrude, Nina, Maggie and Edith. He is survived by his wife of the home, Cleo; his two sons and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Betty Bearden of Yukon, Oklahoma, and Jeff Bearden of Altus, Oklahoma; his sister, Mary Green of Duke, five grandchildren Michael, Chase, Shamana, Tiffany and Jeremy; and six great-grandchildren.
