Obituary for Daniel W. Archbold
Daniel William Archbold or as most knew him, "Arch", passed away on Monday March 4, 2013, at the age of 58.
Services have been scheduled for 4:30 pm, Friday, March 8, 2013 at Lowell-Tims Chapel with Rev. Mark Welch officiating.
The family will receive guests at Lowell-Tims on Thursday evening from 6:00 until 7:30 pm.
Daniel was born in Plainfield, New Jersey, on September 30, 1954, to Edward and Judith Archbold. He was one of six children. He graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelors in Business.
On March 20th, 1983, he married the love of his life, Jaemie Denise Huff, in Pasadena, California. They would have celebrated their 30th anniversary on the 20th of this month.
He worked civil service for the Department of Defense for over 20 years and also as a manager at McDonald's for the last 15 years. He was a member of United Church of God in Lawton, Oklahoma. Arch enjoyed swimming, being outdoors, working out, talking to everyone, playing games with his family, eating all his food and your food if allowed, and ending his day soaking in the hot tub. God and his family were always the greatest joys in his life. His family shared a bond like no other and his constant smile and positivity touched all that knew him. He will forever be missed by all who loved him and may we strive to make him proud by continuing to live life to the fullest as he always did.
Daniel is survived by his loving wife, Jaimie Archbold of the home in Altus; one daughter, Ida Gifford and husband Dwayne of Altus; his son, Isaac Archbold also of Altus; 3 brothers, Mike Archbold and wife Patti of Virginia, Tim Archbold and wife Mary of Wisconsin, and Jeff Archbold and wife Susie of Minnesota; and two sisters, Jill Skaife and husband John of Minnesota and Ann Archbold and husband Steve Dreis also of Minnesota.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Judith Archbold.
