Debbie Jo Fick, age 58, a resident of Altus, Oklahoma, passed away Monday morning, May 9, 2016 at the Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
Debbie was born in Baraboo, Wisconsin on January 18, 1958 to her parents Donald Richard and Margaret Joyce (Welch) Stelter. On July 25, 1975 she married her high school sweetheart Chris Fick, Sr. in Kenosha, Wisconsin and they enjoyed well over 40 years of marriage together. Debbie loved her Lord, her husband, her children and grandchildren. She was an active reader and leaves a library behind. She was also quilter and leaves many UFO/PHD"s for her husband to finish (he is a quilter also). She loved to do crafts and scrapbooking in her spare time but most of all, Debbie loved her family and friends and always treasured time with them and couldn"t wait to see them and enjoy their company.
Preceded in death by her mother Margaret Stelter and one sister, Donna Jean Stelter; Debbie is survived by her father, Donald Stelter of Minnesota; her husband Chris, Sr. of the home; three sons, Chris Fick, Jr. and wife Pamela of Louisiana; Joseph Fick of California; and Donald Fick of Granite; one brother, John Griffin of Mississippi; one sister, Phyllis Schwandt and husband Robert of Minnesota; eight grandchildren, Shayna, Dakota, Brandon, Andru, Jordan, Chris III., Sky, and AJ.; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends.
Memorial services will be 10:00 am, Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Andy Young officiating.
