Debra Ann Graham, age 56, a longtime resident of Duke, passed away early Saturday morning, November 15, 2014, at Plantation Village Care Center, in Altus.
Debra was born in Mangum, Oklahoma on November 15, 1958, to Robert J. and Talva Arlene (Couchman) Moore. Debra graduated from Duke High School in 1977 with a very special class, who were like brothers and sisters to her. They all had a very special bond.
Debra received her associate"s degree from WOSC in 1979, and then went to Southwestern Oklahoma State University, in Weatherford. For thirteen years, Debra served as the director of housekeeping and laundry at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. On December 6, 2000, she married the love of her life, Mark "Bo" Richard Graham, and he preceded her in death on August 21, 2014, after fourteen wonderful years of marriage. Debra loved watching Duke Sports and she was her son"s biggest cheerleader.
Debra accepted the Lord as her Savior at Falls Creek when she was in the seventh grade. Debra went to the First Baptist Church in Duke and loved her Church and her church family. Going through cancer treatments, her favorite Bible verse was Jeremiah 29:11.
Preceded in death by her parents; her paternal grandparents, Jesse and Vera Moore; her maternal grandparents, George and Talva Couchman; Uncles, Merle Moore and Richard Couchman and her husband, Bo, she is lovingly survived by two sons, Nic Graham of Duke and Trey Graham and wife Whitney of Wake Forrest, North Carolina; her brother, Gary Bob Moore of Duke; mother-in-law, Rae Graham of Altus; two sisters-in-law, Robin Staggs and husband Scott of Blair and Jeannie Freeland of Altus; Uncle Charles Couchman of Coldwater, Kansas; two aunts, Annie McCoy of Hollis and Sarah Couchman of Amarillo, Texas along with many other relatives and many, many friends.
Funeral services for Debra Graham will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, November 18, 2014, at the Duke Baptist Church with Pastor Ryan Morris officiating. Interment will follow at the Russell Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home of Altus.
