LEAMON

Debra Diane (Purcell) Leamon went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 9, 2017. She was surrounded by family and friends.

Debra was born on March 19, 1956. She was the the 7th child of Eb and Cora Purcell of Altus. Debra lived her entire life in southwest Oklahoma. She graduated from Altus High School in 1975. She received her LPN license over 30 years ago. She served on the staff of Mangum and Hollis hospitals. She also served as a home health nurse and as a nurse at Grace Living Center.

Debra was preceded in death by the love of her life, her only child, Robert Castillo. She is survived by her only grandchild, Angel Castillo. She is also survived by her husband, Danny Leamon of Mangum. She also has 3 surviving sisters: Virginia Henderson of Killeen, Texas, Beverly White of Midwest City, Oklahoma, and Brenda Weeks of Yukon, Oklahoma. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her beloved pug, Otis, who misses her very much.

Debra loved to cook and feed her friends and family. She had quite a cookbook collection. She loved reading her cookbooks. She was also an avid crocheter. She enjoyed arts and crafts.

Cremation services were provided by Greer Funeral Home, of Mangum.
