Obituary for Dixie Bradley
Dixie Bradley, age 81, was born March 6th, 1913, in Alvoyd, Texas, to C.D. and Leasie Ann (Matthews) Dromgoole. Mrs. Bradley passed away Thursday, September 1st, 1994, in the Jackson County Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 5, 1994, in the Lowell Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Randall Pike officiating. Burial will follow in the Martha Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
On January 15, 1927, she and Rosson Jefferson Bradley were united in marriage at Comanche, OK. Mrs. Bradley moved to Altus in 1969 from Lawton. Mrs. Bradley was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Lowell Tims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include: seven children, Donald Bradley of Oklahoma City, OK, Ronald Bradley of Longview, TX, Billy Bradley of Conroe, TX, Dorothy Jones of Altus, OK, Louella Rushing of Elk City, OK, Patricia Brand of North Pekin, IL and Dixie Gail Pike of San Antonio, TX; one brother, Lloyd Drumgolle of Dallas, TX; two sisters, Vida Orr of Duncan, OK and Gladys White of Eldorado, IL; 27 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Rosson Jefferson Bradley, 1-16-90; her parents; three brothers; three sisters.
