Obituary for Donald A. Jones
Donald A. Jones, age 50, of Garland, TX, died Wednesday at his home of an apparent heart attack.
Funeral services have been set for 10:30 A.M., Friday morning at the Eldorado First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Odema Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.
Born March 31st, 1926 in Eldorado, he had lived in Garland the past seventeen years. He was a paper-hanger by trade, was a Veteran of WWII, and a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include: his wife, Mary of the home; his Mother, Mrs. Matt "Marie" Jones of Eldorado; two sons, Larry Jones of Marysville, CA and Royce Jones of Granada, MS; one daughter, Mrs. Donna Rico of Garland, TX; two brothers, Fred Jones of Fremont, CA and Eddie Jones of Blueridge, TX; two sisters, Mrs. Wanda McQuary of Albany, OR and Mrs. Pearl Thibodeaux of Altus; three grandchildren.
